Skeletal spicules inside lattice shell thin, outside very thick and 8-12 times as long as portions inside shell; lattice beams wide, round in cross-section. Aspinal pores small, elongate-ovoid, as wide as the lattice beams. Accessory needles long, four times as long as shell radius. Diameter of shell: 0.08 mm, coronal pores: 0.002 mm, sutural pores: 0.01 to 0.015 mm, bars: 0.003 mm; length of radial spicules: 0.3 to 0.5 mm.
