Eledone nigra

Only a larva ML 6.9 mm described. Mantle egg-shaped; arms subequal, somewhat shorter than ML; arm chromatophores in one row (>16); dorsal mantle densely covered with large chromatophores (>50; 8-9 across mantle), ventral mantle with >50 small ones, dorsal head with 6 (4+2) chromatophores, ventral head with some small ones, funnel with 3; 12 visceral chromatophores on digestive gland; silvery iridophores around eyes. Ten lamellae per demibranch in adults. Egg size 3.5 mm.
