Anterior nectophore with 7 complete longitudinal ridges. A characteristic feature is that the ventro-lateral ridges bend ventrad, slightly above the ostial level, and run down onto the mouth plate. Extensive hydroecium extending to well above ostial level, and largely open ventrally. Short somatocyst, usually club-shaped, but its outline is often difficult to discern. Posterior nectophore and eudoxid stage have not been described.
