Spicules equal in size and shape, proximally 4-winged, distally 8-winged, tips sharp, from middle 8 short stump-like apophyses; each with 40 thread-like myonemes. Basal leaf-star very large. Cell body polygonal, central capsule red-brown. Diameter of cell body: 0.12 mm; length of spicules: 0.25 mm, width: 0.017 mm; length of basal leaf-star: 0.06 mm.
