Diploconus cyathiscus

Mantle of double cone thin walled, not compressed; circular in cross section, contour strongly convex, surface with six stronger and many smaller ribs, margin with numerous, straight and long, parallel denticles. Diameter of mouth half as long as whole shell, one and a half times as long as equatorial diameter. Two main spicules prismatic, one-fourth longer than conical sheath or cornet. Sixteen smaller spicules about half as long, thin, straight. Two quadrangular-prismatic equatorial spicules thick and short. Length of shell: 0.2 mm; equatorial breadth: 0.07 mm, polar breadth: 0.1 mm.
