Body smooth, compressed. Rostrum medium. Eyes oval or reniform. ANT subequal. ART 1 of peduncle of ANT I shorter than head, longer than ART 2 (and ART 2 longer than ART 3); ART 1 of main flagellum twice as long as ART 3 of peduncle; accessory flagellum absent. Mandibular molar columnar, triturative; ART 1 of mandibular palp without any teeth, ART 2 unlobed, ART 3 shorter than 2. Lower lip with inner lobes. Inner lobe of MX I with 1 pinnate apical seta. Inner lobes of MX II broader but not longer than outer. Coxae very short and slightly enlarged in row I-VII, CX I not produced anteriorly nor expanded distally. P I like P II (Harcledo curvidactyla 1), not of eusirid form, subchelate without distinct palmar margin or palmar spines, ART 5 much shorter than ART 6, ART 6 broadly lanceolate. P III-VII elongate, simple, ART 2 not anteriorly lobate. ART 4-6 of P V-VII each 1.5 times as long as ART 2. Epimeral plate III smooth (Harcledo curvidactyla 2). Exopodites of UR I-III slightly shorter than endopodites. Telson elongate, pointed, cleft. Purely pelagic genus.
