Pelagopleura magna

Trunk up to 6.0 mm long, elongate, very high in the pharyngeal part (Pelagopleura magna). Mouth wide. Spiracles large and oblong, at both sides of the rectum. Endostyle long. Stomach irregularly rounded, laterally compressed, with oral pyloric ampules. Intestine tubular, arising from the pyloric ampule. Rectum pear-shaped and oblique. Anus between the spiracles. Gonads valve-shaped, covering laterally the coil of the gut when ripe. Tail with several glandular patches near its tip, musculature narrow.
