Length to 7 mm. ART 2 of P I shorter than ART 3-7 combined (Parascelus edwardsi 1). ART 2 of P VI 1.5-1.7 times as long as wide (Parascelus edwardsi 2). Very similar to Parascelus typhoides, to the point that some authors (e.g., (Zeidler, 1998; Lim and Valentin, 2001) suggested that its synonymous with the latter.
