Lestrigonus crucipes

Length to 4 mm. Pereonites I-II fused in males, I-III in females (Lestrigonus crucipes 1). Head higher than long, shorter than pereonites I-III taken together. ANT I and II well-developed in females (ANT I reaching or slightly exceed top of gland cone). Gland cone obtuse, projecting obliquely anteriorly. MD with broad molar, incisor with 8-9 teeth, lacinia mobilis with about 7 teeth. MX I inner lobe with 5 subequal apical teeth (Lestrigonus crucipes 2). MX II with 2 spines on outer lobe, 1 spine on inner lobe. P I and II with 3-4 spines on anterior margin of ART 6. Posterodistal process of ART 5 of P II reaching beyond middle of ART 6. Dactyls of P I-IV with spinulose posterior margin. P III-IV longer than V-VII. P V-VII with broad ART 2, with ART 6 produced distally into recurved hook with 1-2 denticles (Lestrigonus crucipes 3). Dactyls moderately short. Epimeral plates with rounded posterior corners. Telson rounded,
