Length 4-6 mm (Iulopis loveni 1). Body slightly compressed laterally in males, more globular in females. Left MD with small lacinia mobilis. Posterodistal corner of ART 5 of P I with pointed triangular process (Iulopis loveni 2), P almost chelate. Distal process of ART 5 of P II pointed. Posterior margin of ART 5 of P I and II without marginal spines. Epimeral plates with rounded corners. Telson three times as short as basipodites of UR III.
