Length 2 mm (females), 3-3.5 mm (males). Head about twice as high as long, evenly rounded ventrally. ANT I reaching ventral margin of head in females. Gland cone barely reaching ventral margin of head, broadly rounded, in lateral view separated from epistome by short gap. Left MD with lacinia mobilis divided into about 7 teeth. Outer lobes of MXP sub-pyriform; about one quarter longer than wide, bearing few spinules on both surfaces near distal margin (Hyperietta stephenseni 3). ART 2 of P I about 2.2 times as long as wide, anterior margin convex in proximal two thirds, concave in distal part (Hyperietta stephenseni 2); ART 5 bearing a single spine at mid-length of posterior margin, 3 spines at posterodistal corner; ART 6 about 3 times as long as wide, with single spine on anterior margin in females, 1-2 spines in males. ART 6 of P II with single spine on anterior margin in females, 1-2 spines in males. P VI very slightly longer than V or VII (Hyperietta stephenseni 1), ART 5 of P V-VII always with long spine at anterodistal corner in females, shorter spine in same position and additional short spines on anterior margins in males. Telson slightly shorter than width at base, slightly longer than half of basipodite of UR III.
