Length 6-8 mm. MX II with 2 spines at apex of outer lobe. MXP with row of spines on distal margin of basal plate. Anterodistal corners of ART 2-4 of P V-VII produced into more or less pointed rectangular processes (Hyperiella antarctica 1). P V much longer than VI. Basipodite of UR III distinctly more than twice as long as telson. Exopodite of UR III less than two thirds as wide as endopodite in males. Posteroventral corner of epimeral plate I rounded. Ventral margins of epimeral plates II and III convex.
