Vibilia propinqua

Length to 12 mm. Integument dense, with brown chromatophores in live animals. Head small, not higher than anterior pereonites. Eyes dark (Vibilia propinqua 3), narrow in females, broadened dorsally in males. ANT I not longer than head and first pereonite combined in females, slightly longer in males; flagellum elongate-oval in females, more lanceolate in males. P strong. ART 6 of P I longer than 5, dactyl subequal to half of ART 6 (Vibilia propinqua 1). Posterodistal process of ART 5 of P II reaching two third of length of ART 6; dactyl strong, serrate, about third length of ART 6. ART 2 of P V weakly broadened; ART 4 slightly shorter than 6, but longer than 5; dactyl almost straight, 3-3.5 times as short as ART 6. P VII with moderately short ART 2, long distal part, posterodistal lobe of ART 2 longer than ART 3; ART 7 with scales on surface, reaching two third of length of ART 6. Telson triangular, with rounded top (Vibilia propinqua 2).
