Scina borealis

(G. O. Sars, 1882)

Length 7-8 mm. Body smooth. ANT I slightly longer than pereon. Outer lobes of MXP with sharp top (Scina borealis 1). Inner lobes about half as long as outer. P V with strong denticles on both margins of ART 2. Distal process of ART 2 well-developed. ART 5 of P V much longer than ART 6. P VI slightly shorter than V, with ART 5 shorter than ART 6 (Scina borealis 3). P VII weak. UR I with strongly dentate inner margins (Scina borealis 2). Live animals red.
