Length to 61 mm, mainly 25-45 mm. Head with small but well-developed, sharp rostrum (Scypholanceola aestiva 2). Distal (small) ART of ANT I without apical processes (Scypholanceola aestiva 1). Coxae II-V sharp anteriorly. Dactyls of P V-VII strongly curved in mature animals, barely curved in young. Telson with sharp or rounded top.
