Cleonardo longipes

Length to 10 mm. Body transparent. Rostrum slightly less than one half length of ART 1 of peduncle of ANT I (Cleonardo longipes 2). ART 2 of peduncle of ANT I 1-1.5 times as long as ART 1; ART 1 without any teeth. Subchela in P I shorter, moderately broader than in P II. Posterior lobes of ART 5 of P I-II triangular, slightly narrower than main part of ART in P I, as broad as it in P II, "height" smaller than length of base. ART 6 of P III-IV 1-1.5 times as long as dactyl (Cleonardo longipes). ART 6 of P VI 1.1-1.5 times as long as dactyl. Telson very long, top reaching distal ends of rami of UR III, deeply cleft. Live animals with small red eyes, which may be obscure in fixed specimens.
