Body semi-transparent. Two dichotomously branching lateral arms, with small, very numerous (up to over 1,000) suckers. Median arm absent. Posterior gill absent (though small crests sometimes remain), lateral gill reduced but present. Posterior footlobe, wings and lateral footlobes of average size. With dorsal gland patch. Jaw supported by thin membrane, composed of numerous slender spines with open space in middle. Globular cells under jaw; at right, under radula, group of smaller cells (probably secretory). Hook sacs large, with 20 slender hooks. Radula formula: 8-1-8. Radula teeth variable in size and shape. Median tooth with large basal plate, two cusps, its hollow anterior border ends at both sides in more or less pronounced corners. Cusp of first lateral tooth straight or bending slightly toward the median line, whereas cusps of other laterals point anteriorly. Body length 32 mm.
