Body large, tail long. Pinnules reduced to a fringe bordering the parapodia. Hyaline glands in variable position very ventral and dorsal pinnules. Chromophil glands prominent, present from the fourth parapodia posteriorly. Cirriform appendages of second segment may exceed length of body. More characters can be accessed by backtracking the key:
