Without apical projection; gonads ellipsoidal, on distal part of radial canals, unequal alternatively 4 larger and 4 smaller; umbrella 4-6 mm wide, lower than hemispheric; mesoglea thin; manubrium small; small, broad peduncle; 4 short, simple lips; 50-80 tentacles; 6-24 statocysts.
