Usually about 12 (8-14) manubrial pouches, square or somewhat rounded distally. Umbrella up to 14 mm; highly arched; manubrial pouches increasing in number with age; no peripheral canals; ectodermal pad below base of tentacles small; marginal lappets short and broad, each with 4-10 statocysts; otoporpae narrow, linear.
