Usually 8 (7-9) square manubrial pouches, very close together. Umbrella 5-7 mm wide, flatter than hemispherical; no peripheral canals; thick and broad ectodermal pad below base of each tentacle; marginal lappets with 2-5 generally 3 statocysts; otoporpae small.
