Umbrella up to 20 mm in diameter; with short, broad gastric peduncle; gonads extending from base of peduncle to circular canal, wavy, their distal ends sac-like, pendent; with 4 perradial and 4 interradial cnidocysts pads, each with one large and one minute tentacle; in addition, several isolated tentacles at different stages of development; without dwarf tentacles; 8 statocysts enclosed in perradial and interradial pads.
