Gonads narrow, elongated along less than 1/2 of the distal part of radial canals; about 32 tentacles and some young bulbs. Umbrella 9-12 mm (rarely 14 mm) wide, about 4 times broader than high, thin; manubrium short, cruciform; mouth with 4 slightly frilled lips; bulbs elongated; 1 (rarely 2) statocysts between successive tentacles.
