Umbrella 30-40 mm wide, flat-topped, with vertical sides, apical mesoglea very thick; manubrium wide and short; with wide, large gastric peduncle; mouth with 32 long, complexly crenulated lips; 32 swollen gonads on radial canals near manubrium; 64 short marginal tentacles with large bulbs; about 100 slender tentaculiform structures and about 400 adaxial ocelli.
