With 16 marginal statocysts. Umbrella 52 mm wide, watch-glass-shaped, mesoglea thin at umbrellar margin, thick in central part; manubrium cruciform, extending perradially; mouth with 4 large, pointed, highly crenulated lips; gonads linear along greater part of radial canals, about 220 marginal tentacles, all alike, with elongated bulbs; 5-8 marginal cirri between successive tentacles.
