Umbrella up to 76 mm wide, flat, thin; manubrium 1/3-1/2 as wide as umbrella; about 30-45 radial canals leave periphery of manubrium without branching, but from a cruciform figure in centre of manubrium the branching ridges pass to point of origin of free canals; gonads along greatest part of radial canals; 28-70 tentacles and several small rudimentary bulbs, with long excretory papillae; statocysts very numerous.
