Clevea melchersi

Balech, 1948

Only species in genus, erected to accommodate Clevea melchersi Balech, 1948, which might represent a transitional form between genus Eutintinnus and genus Daturella. Despite its smaller size, the general aspect resembles that of Eutintinnus rugosus, main difference being the conspicuous scalloped rim on the aboral end of Clevea melchersi (similar to that of Daturella emarginata).
