Diagnosis: Surface of the cell covered with foreign siliceous objects, ranging from the tests primarily of a single species of silicoflagellate to a (seemingly random) mixed assemblage of various diatoms, silicoflagellates, polycystine radiolarians, or sponge spicules.

Diameter: 0.9-0.3 mm.
