Diagnosis: Valves typically with ten styles, extending beyond external lattice, distal ends tapering and branching dichotomously 5 times producing 32 strongly divergent terminal branches in a low, flat tuft. Terminal branches slightly curved, with a few recurved hooks, with spathilla with 5-6 small teeth at distal end of each branch.

Length: 1.5-1.8 mm.
