Diagnosis: Spherical shell, with circular funnel-shaped pores, about as wide as bar width, framed. Mouth small, circular, with 4-6 stout conical teeth, about same length as by-spines, with one flame-shaped main-spine, longer and thicker than other main spines, often sculptured. Main-spines fairly straight, slender, length about two fifths shell diameter. By-spines about two and one half times pore width.

Diameter: 0.33-0.53 mm.
