Diagnosis: Spherical, thick-walled, yellowish shell with subcircular, irregular pores, almost twice as large as bar width, with inconspicuous funnel-shaped 5 to 6-sided frames. Mouth relatively large, with 5-6 main-spines. Main-spines as long as shell diameter. By-spines about twice as large as pore diameter.

Diameter: 0.53-1.2 mm.
