Pterocanium praetextum (Ehrenberg) group?
Similar to Pterocanium trilobum, from which it sometimes is difficult to separate; differs by having a thorax with more pronounced, angular shoulders, and often a better developed abdomen. Shell height (without horn and feet): 100-120 µm.
