All spicules of equal size and shape, 4-winged, tips sharp, with small leaf-cross. Cell body spherical, light yellow to light brown. Ectoplasmic cortex single-layered. Each spicule with 40 myonemes. Diameter of cell body: 0.1-0.16 mm; spicule length: 0.4-0.6 mm; breadth of leaf-cross: 0.012-0.08 mm.
