Four main equatorial spicules broad, 4-winged in cross section, pyramidal. Secondary spicules of same length or slightly longer, compressed but not two-edged, tips blunt. Cell body quadrangular. Length of main spicules: 0.09 mm; secondary: 0.07-0.1 mm.
