Six main spicules of unequal size; two equatorial with sheaths twice as large as the four polar spicules. These six spicules six-edged, pyramidal, with basal half enveloped by very large, conical, sulcate sheaths, twice as broad on dentate distal mouth as on narrower base. Other fourteen spicules very thin, two-edged, half as long, with low sheaths. Diameter of shell: 0.15 mm; length of equatorial spicules: 0.13 mm, of polar spicules: 0.08 mm.
