Apophyses of long polar and tropical spicules crossed by transverse beam, which is again crossed by two perpendicular branches parallel to apophyses; branches with free ends, not coalescing. At base of each spicule (in outer shell) two large elliptical aspinal pores, larger than other irregular pores. Four equatorial spicules simple, without apophyses, of same size as other sixteen. Diameter of outer shell: 0.12 mm, of inner 0.05 mm.
