Spicules cylindrical, tapering distally. Basal ends 2-3 times thicker than distal portion, ending in 5-6 edged pyramids fused into central body. Cell body polygonal, protoplasm whitish-gray with abundant oil inclusions. Each spicule with 32 or more myonemes. Diameter of cell body: 0.2 mm; spicule length: 0.50-0.56 mm.
