Spicules stout, long, very strongly compressed but with only distal third plainly two-sided; opposing apophyses arising in proximal quarter of spicule length and bearing secondary apophyses. These do not unite with those of adjacent spicules to form continuous lattice shell. Dimensions of latticed shell: 0.18-0.19 by 0.11 mm; cell body, length: 0.17 mm, width: 0.1 mm; spicule length: 0.2-0.3 mm.
