Dysteria compressa

Body broadly rectangular, spur-like protrusion on posterior dorsal side may be shifted slightly ventrally. Laterally distinctly flattened, left plate slightly larger than right. Stylus rather small. Two ventral contractile vacuoles. Oral basket narrow. Movement rapid. Size about 35-45 x 28 µm. Reinvestigation necessary.
