Length 5-8 mm. Head large and high, in females equal to, or longer than, pereon (Eupronoe minuta 1); in males moderately shorter, narrowing anteriorly. ART 4 of P I strongly expanded distally, with anterodistal and posterodistal processes (second lobe-like, longer than first). ART 5 of P I 1.5 times narrower than ART 4, shorter than ART 6 (Eupronoe minuta 2). ART 4 of P II broader than long, with rounded antero and posterodistal lobes; ART 5 slightly broader than ART 4, twice as broad as long, with small anterodistal, very broad posterodistal, lobes; latter only slightly shorter than ART 6. ART 2 of P VI twice as long as distal ART combined. Telson triangular, with rounded top.
