Carapace with well defined upturned rim.
Antennal scale 6.5 times as long as broad; outer margin with 9-10 strong spines among setae.
Uropods: exopod of uropods with proximal joint armed with 9 spines among setae on distal 3/4 of outer margin.
Telson: sides of telson almost parallel in proximal half, then narrowing; lateral margin with dense row of spines arranged in series on distal 4/5; apex with 3 spines, middle one short; no plumose setae on apex.
