Diagnosis: Spire high, body whorl increasing rapidly in diameter. With up to 5, rapidly growing colorless whorls. Narrow deep umbilicus. Thicker parts along columella and upper aperture lip, purple-brown, smooth except for faint growth lines. Clear suture. Columellar aperture border slightly concave. Wing protrusions absent. Embryonic shell with spiral ornamentation of irregularly ramified flat ridges, depression separating protoconch I and II (Boltovskoy, 1974b). Protoconch I smooth, protoconch II with growth lines. Shell height 1 mm, width 0.8 mm; apical angle 75-96°.
