Totton, 1954
Nectophores without a vertical lateral ridge. In 1954 Totton stated that the apico-lateral ridges bifurcated distally; while in 1965 he mentioned pairs of Vk' (apico-lateral) and Vk" (lateral) ridges. It is, therefore, not clear what affinities the latter ridges have. The bracts were described to be flattened, cone-shaped, and truncated distally. The bracteal canal runs the entire length of the bract and ends on a small papilla on the distal facet. New material of this species, in excellent condition, needs to be examined in order that a more detailed description can be given.
