Umbrella up to 6 mm wide, about two thirds as high as wide; gonads sac-like, folded, on proximal part of radial canals; four to eight large tentacles located at some distance from radial canals, occasionally also four similar interradial large tentacles, all with terminal adhesive pads; 64-75 mostly non-adhesive tentacles with numerous cnidocyst rings arising from bell margin; 1-2 statocysts between successive tentacles.
