Diagnosis: Spheroidal shell with papillae tapering into thorns, connected by regular triangular ridges, with oral opening at flared distal end of long cylindrical peristome. Radial spines (13-30) over all of shell surface, but more abundant in oral than in aboral hemisphere, length 3-4 times shell diameter.
Diameter: 0.05-0.16 mm.
