Popofsky
Two latticed shells, outermost thin-walled, smooth, with small regular, circular pores; medullary shell pear-shaped. Two main polar spines of equal or different size (additional, usually smaller spines may be present as well). Cortical shell diameter without spines: ca. 80 µm.
