Cuvierina columnella (Rang, 1827) forma atlantica van der Spoel, 1970
Shell completely transparent, bottle-shaped, greatest width at 1/3 shell length from base, constricted below reniform aperture. Surface smooth or with very faint growth lines. In juvenile stage shell with needle-shaped protoconch (C. columnella f. atlantica 2, C. columnella f. atlantica 3, C. columnella f. atlantica 4), closed off by convex septum; protoconch I oval. Shell length: 10 mm.
