Peduncle in male ANT I straight, length about quarter of first ART of flagellum (Thyropus sphaeroma 1). P I and II simple (Thyropus sphaeroma 2). P I equal to or longer than P II. ART 5 of P I and II slightly conical, without any distal processes. ART 2 of P VI long, narrowing in distal half, with or without short fissure (Thyropus sphaeroma 3). P VII with reduced distal ART (Thyropus sphaeroma 5). In all UR, endopodites fused with basipodites. Endopodite of UR I strongly broadened distally (Thyropus sphaeroma 4).
