ANT I inserted on ventral surface of head, male flagellum with large curved ART 1, a few distal ART inserted on same ART, terminally or subterminally; female flagellum curved, composed of a few ART. ANT II inserted on ventral surface of head, in males composed of 5 long ART (3 peduncular + 2 flagellar) folded on one another in zigzag fashion; in females with few articulations, short or absent, not arranged as zigzag. Only P I and II may be chelate or subchelate. P VII often reduced. Telson may be fused with urosome.
