Tubulariidae with umbrella margin at oblique angle; without pointed apical process; with or without exumbrellar cnidocyst tracks; 4 radial canals, 1 short, 2 medium sized, and one longer; manubrium on short peduncle; with 1 simple or compound marginal bulb with 1-3 tentacles; with the 3 remaining perradial bulbs rudimentary.
